Investment Philosophy

We offer proprietary, in-house managed portfolios

Charles Dow began "figuring" back in the late 1800s. He took value in plotting price movement over time to depict the ongoing battle between supply and demand. Our team carries the baton forward by implementing a modernized version called Point & Figure Charting, which uses X's and O's to represent demand and supply respectively.

Our team strives to make tactical decisions utilizing proprietary analysis and evaluation techniques. This type of analysis evaluates particular asset classes such as domestic equities, international equities, bonds, currencies, commodities and cash – ranking the asset classes from strongest to weakest, based upon “Relative Strength.”

Relative Strength – an objective and scalable way to decision making

Relative Strength is a measure of price trends that indicates how a stock is performing relative to other stocks in its industry. Our team leverages technology to rank investments from strongest to weakest. This relative strength ranking determines which investments earn their way into the portfolio and which are left on the sidelines. When rankings shift, we substitute one investment for another like handing a baton in the 400M dash at the Olympics or a coach substituting players in a sporting event. We simply strive to buy winners, sell losers, and repeat.
